Darkrai is known as the "pitch-black" Pokemon and is known for putting people to sleep with his attack, dark void. This attack causes never ending nightmares and can only be stopped with the help from Cresselia.Cresselia can be seen as an opposite of Darkrai, as Darkrai causes nightmares, whereas Cresselia prevents them
Cresselia and Darkrai are also found on islands that can be seen as counterparts to one another. Darkrai is found on Newmoon Island while Cresselia is found on Fullmoon Island. This is also fitting because the new moon is absent of light as opposed to the full moon which is when the moon exhibits the most light.
In addition to this, there is a story in the Pokemon universe about a little girl who is put to sleep by Darkrai. The girl's parents search far and wide to find a remedy for her curse but fail. The girl is later abandoned by her parents and left in her house to starve to death. The girl's ghost is seen inhabiting the house and can only be put to rest with the help from Cresselia.

What does this have to do with dreaming. Although dreams exist in this world, it is nothing more than a fictional cartoon. Unless you give us ACTUAL facts about dreaming i will be forced to give you a -10/10 review.

I quote "Our goal is to teach the public about the many possibilities of their dreams and to assist them in getting in touch with their inner-self." We here at Sleepawareness Inc. genuinely believe that showing a contrast to the way Pokemon interprets sleep can actually help one understand more about how sleep works in the real life. This is not the first time that Pokemon (or any video game in general) has helped many people understand a theme of the real world. For example: Pokemon helps children comprehend the complexities of evolution by using cute fictional animals that literally evolve and get stronger. Tetris has been used to test for the symptoms of ADHD and ADD as well as rehabilitate many injured people. So before you spread your foul excuse of an opinion, you should check your facts.

You bring up Tetris but Tetris has actual ties to the the disorders that you mentioned. POKEMON is a cartoon for school children, not for grown adults seeking a more comfortable dream

DeleteI think this is honestly disturbing. Referring a childhood videogame to dreams and nightmares? Wow. A nightmare is much scarier than one percieves it to be. That is why it has the name nightmare. However, this post decided to ruin a childhood memory of mine in the process. This is unacceptable! I demand this post to be taken down. It is practically a crime to do this. I hope this apologetic excuse for a post on the website is flagged, and may the writer experience a punishment that makes death look like a blessing, and have a great day!
